Vicar Tyler Arends
Tyler Arends is here at Ascension for one year, serving his vicarage among us. Every seminary student (and Tyler goes to the Concordia Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana) is assigned to a congregation in his third year of studies, where he is mentored by the pastor of that congregation and gets a "feel" for what it's going to be like once he becomes a pastor, himself. Tyler comes from Melvin, Illinois, where his parents live.
